Wego, the largest online travel marketplace in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), has partnered with flyadeal, a low-cost airline in Saudi Arabia, to offer users direct booking for flights through its platform.

The partnership aims to provide Wego users with a wider choice of airlines to book from and will include all flyadeal flights on Wego’s marketplace.

This collaboration will allow flyadeal to distribute its products to a bigger audience and showcase its competitive everyday fares.

flyadeal, a subsidiary of Saudi Airlines Group, currently operates scheduled flights to 17 domestic destinations in Saudi Arabia and six international destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The airline plans to triple its international footprint in June, adding 12 more destinations in Europe and the Middle East. Wego users will benefit from flyadeal’s competitive fares, which will be promoted across all of Wego’s marketing channels.

Ross Veitch, CEO and Co-founder of Wego, expressed delight in partnering with flyadeal, the fastest-growing airline in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Veitch is excited to offer flyadeal’s attractively priced fares to Wego’s audience, both in the Kingdom and across regional points of sale as flyadeal opens new international routes.

Wego data shows that the top destinations searching for flights to Saudi Arabia are Egypt, India, Kuwait, UAE, Sudan, Oman, Turkey, Jordan, Morocco, and Qatar.

Approximately 79% of travelers stay up to three days, with the remaining percentage staying 12 days or more. The partnership ensures Wego users have the most comprehensive selection of flight options available across all its platforms.

flyadeal, founded in 2017, operates a young fleet of 28 Airbus A320 aircraft and has flown nearly 20 million passengers since its inaugural flight. By 2030, the airline aims to operate hundreds of routes with a fleet of over 100 aircraft.
