Centara Hotels & Resorts, the hotel operator in Thailand, is celebrating its 40th anniversary by launching a charity campaign that underscores its commitment to responsible tourism.

Between 1st October and 31st December 2023, Centara has committed to donating THB 40 for every direct booking made on its website, provided the stay occurs within these dates.

The collected funds will be donated to The Chaipattana Foundation, a distinguished non-profit organization.

Established in 1988 by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, The Chaipattana Foundation is deeply committed to sustainable rural growth, environmental protection, and enhancing the livelihoods of Thai communities.

Supporting this foundation reflects Centara’s strong Thai heritage, its emphasis on family values, and its ongoing drive to positively influence local communities where its properties are located.

Guests participating in Centara’s charity campaign will not just be making a monetary contribution; they’ll be part of an essential movement towards a brighter, more sustainable, and responsible future.

Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO of Centara Hotels & Resorts, expressed his pride in the brand’s journey and its Thai roots.

“As we celebrate our 40th milestone, we’re honoring our Thai heritage, the principles that inspire us, and our dedication to a more sustainable future,” he stated. “We’re proud to support The Chaipattana Foundation, which mirrors these ideals, and we’re thrilled to contribute to their remarkable initiatives.”

As the festive season approaches, Centara is inviting its guests and loyalty members to be part of its 40-year journey – a journey marked by unparalleled hospitality, world-class service, and a pledge to effect meaningful change.
